I am afraid all you are seeing is that CB accurately reflects the condition of
"the world."

The "F word" is considered proper etiquette onboard campus... Indeed, even
professors have been know to utter it...

Society is not controlled though regulation of radio...

Have you ever seen a "gentleman ham" recently?

Yes I have his name was Scot KB9NXL

His license class howver was tech plus, he was also the first Ham I
tlaked to on the air, and recoved well when he learned I was using one
of the other band on the multiband repeater

(based on the fact that the 440 HT was on sale compred to the 2M one I
 got the 440)

Something happened to all the old guys who welcomed new members into their
 ranks?

something did happen to them I have never seen one in person, and not
talked to one on the air that I know of

Held instruction/tutorials at their homes and public forums.

 yea

Instructed rather than wished to control others...

Indeed mine KB9NXL loved morse code was his favorite modebut he was
able to respect that I truely loath the mode, and we became and remain
 friends

It is a real shame, but the caliber of amateurs is equal or below the
 chicken
banders in this brave new world...

from what I hear below but then what hear on CB that is bad is merely
vulgar, what I hear that is bad on Ham radio is bigotry in better
language I prefer the vulgar to the bigoted

we have a "gentleman's agreement" here to use capitals and proper

i think it is so those who cannot extrapolate off their grade school
  english
  educations can participate

have you ever found any of the gentlemen who go around making all these
agreements? I suppose they must be awfully busy
