My map shows in excess of 20 major cities, and most of the population

unscathed in anyone's book.

No one suggested China could wipe out the US, just make a nast mess of
a few major cities.

No one in anything approaching their right mind would assume that the
US would use its entire nuclear arsenal in a single conflict.

Entire arsenal?
No way, 500 on the first return salvo, then after our spy sats
determine
what is left and functioning, maybe another 500 or so.
That only leaves us 14000+ or so.

Any PCR military base, and remember lots of the PRC companies
are owned by the PR army, becomes fair game.

After 24Hrs no more PRC.

The world enters a major, maybe several generation, global depression.
Not a good outcome for anyone.

Would the US survive as the major world power?
Hard to say, at the least we could kiss "democracy" good by.

We would get to see just how hardened the US is against EMP.
It would fry most of our radios and kill the internet.

But if it killed TV it might all be worth while.
