I was an swl in the early 90s and stumbled on 14.313 one evening and was
hooked on it. Much more entertaining than television.
I got to the point of looking forward to a few hours of radio fun every
evening.
Unfortunately, I never made an effort to record the goings-on, and now
wish I had.
Does anyone here have recordings on cassette or other media? If you have
already turned them into mp3 and have them on CDs, I would be happy to buy
copies for any reasonable amount.
If you just have a box of cassettes, and care to loan them to me, I would
be glad to convert them to mp3 format and put them on CDs, and provide you
with copies of the CDs.
It may sound odd, unless you were there, but I think those nightly
festivals are worth preserving, and the boxes of cassettes won't last
forever.
If I could get the 'shows' converted to mp3 (and have permission from the
owner of the tapes), I'd put them on my web site for free download, or
mail CDs at cost to whoever wants them.
If you are interested, and have recordings from a good listening post,
email me at
