That was one great advantage of the 3's and 4's, the ability to drop in a
AAA battery if needed.

I just ordered 3 V's, today. UHF. I'll let you know. I hear they're
slightly larger than the IV's, but that's due to a larger battery. Gone
are
the AAA cells of the IV's.
