Okay, I believe you, but I'm curious - is this enshrined in your
constitution (bill of rights), or is this just something which is not
otherwise illegal (a "freedom")?

For instance, I have the FREEDOM to eat cornflakes, but I don't have
the RIGHT to eat cornflakes. If my village shop runs out of cornflakes
then I cannot take legal action against the shop.

However, I have the RIGHT to a copy of any police interview with me.
If the police run out of cassette tapes or paper then I CAN take legal
action against the police.
