The volcanos used to be moderated by the rain forests. Carbon dioxide
sinking. Now that the rain forests have been turned into cattle
ranches we get no CO2 sink, plus added methane. Enjoy.

Yep, sure are. The Northwest has a lot of rainforest (at least west of the
Blue Mountains) in Oregon and Washington. This includes the Olympic National
Forest area around Mt. St. Helens. Average of 184 days with rain in that
part of the country, and over 40" of rain annually (some areas much more,
some a little less).
