Well, if you ignore their cooking...
Whats wrong with bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread
and
a jolly old pot of tea for brekkie, then a nice piece of roat beef with
mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, sprouts and a little cabbage washed
down
with another jolly old pot of tea..... bit better than McDonalds i
think.
;oP even our cops dont eat donuts ;o)
To be fair, there is some darn good pub-grub if you know where to go. But
regular restaurants... well... perhaps I have been deliberately shielded
from
the better ones.
As for their tea? Horrible! Tea should be served strong, in a tall glass
filled with ice and without sugar or fruit.

Being perfectly honest which restaraunts have you tried in the UK?? Some pub
grub can be amazing but it depends where you are, like anything. Ive had pub
grub you wouldnt want to look at never mind eat and other places it was
well tasty. I know some of the restaraunts in London you would need a
stomach pump afterwards or a hospital stay ..
As for Tea, you cant beat a nice hot cup with one sugar and milk. Coffee's
ok too but i tend to drink tea at home and coffee at work. As for serving
cold tea with ice and sugar and fruit, ive never tried it but you couldnt
really describe that as a pot of Tea
Theres also some very nice sandwich bars too which specialises in all sorts
of sandwiches and french sticks..etc... its just a matter of where youve
visited..
If you ever get to Birmingham on your travels try one of the Balti
Houses.... they can be excellent. Look at it first though and make sure in
your mind it looks a clean well run place... you know what these foriegners
are like ;o)
