Again, it doesn't matter how MUCH ham radio contributes, but that it IS
contributing in VITAL ways and, in some cases, is the ONLY communications.
Period. HAHAHAHA!

We can deny, denigrate, belittle, downrate Amateur radio all you like, but
facts is facts. I am sitting here LISTENING to HF ham radio traffic of all
kinds from the stricken area. A lot of it sounds important to ME, but
then what do I know? *I* am not the ones (Lenny) in denial!

Jerry [Oxendine]

Neither he, nor the old goofball believe the ARRL. This is all a big ploy
to make hams look better according to the old goof. Lennie is strangly
quiet these days. Guess his life long hate of Amateur Radio doing good
things must have him all upset.

Or maybe he's busy actually doing something to help the effort, unlike
the few lame wannabes like you who do nothing but boast about your
accomplishments when you haven't accomplished squat.

I diasgree with that, Frank. I think Dan and Jerry HAVE squatted
a lot in here. :-)

Some of their squat products are things like "if you don't agree
with ME, you HATE HAM RADIO!" :-)

What I do for any hurricane/flood relief aid is my business. I
don't need any "bragging rights" stated to make me secure.
Others brag and, as you point out, are waving their self-
patriotic flags for themselves by associating others' good
deeds with their own hobby.

Some hams did
indeed make a great contribution. But -you- don't get to take credit
for -their- individual efforts by virtue of your license.

Oh, ohhh! Frank, if you don't like Dan's bragging, he gonna say
"you HATE HAM RADIO!"

If you want to brag then -you- do something worth bragging about.

He is. He be cutting-and-pasting ARRL "official news" and posting
it in here. Of course, anyone who can access Google can also access
www.arrl.org, get the same stuff direct. :-)

Dan's concept of "doing something" involves being a cheerleader
and cussing out others who don't agree with him. Dan IS ham
radio! Disagree with him and you HATE HAM RADIO!!! :-)

Then, when it's
all over, we'll all look back and see who really deserves recognition
for their contribution. And it won't be you, Dan.

You mean I can't send all those Medals of Valor for Amateur
Communications to Dan? I had this very nice Ceremony planned.
Marching bands, bugle corps, drum majorettes, and plenty of flags.
It was going to be in northern New Orleans. They seem to have
some trouble with water or whatever. Need wading boots to be on
the parade ground. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Remember also that Jerry Oxendine IS ham radio. Disagree with
him and he'll say you HATE HAM RADIO!!! :-)
