Hmmm... Googling +"Katrina" +"toxin" tends to indicate that practically
*everyone* is aware of, and has reported, the toxic soup in NOLA, to
include (but not limited to) the big-4 MSM outlets, blogs, nuts,
amateurs, hobbyists, etc.

The EPA mystery man says the toxins pose a more severe hazard, like
the Pile after 9-11, where the Agency also lied about the relative
safety.
He's one guy with an opinion that's akin to arguing which is worse: being
shot in the head once or three times. His opinion really doesn't matter, as
I don't think anyone's treating it lightly, regardless of the *severity*
of the toxicity. It seems everyone treating it as if it was the worst.
I find it difficult to understand why you're burning cycles trying to read
significance into that, when there is something far more worthy of your
angst:

Chertoff delayed federal response, memo shows
"...Chertoff's Aug. 30 memo for the first time declared Katrina an
"Incident of National Significance," a key designation that triggers swift
federal coordination. The following afternoon, Bush met with his Cabinet,
then appeared before TV cameras in the White House Rose Garden to announce
the government's planned action..."
Apparently, there has been an increase in federal authority, under certain
circumstances, with the current NRP.
You may now commence running in circles & screaming that the sky is
falling.
Will he say that we're really, really, really doomed now?
