"RF Circuit Deign"
By
Chris Bowick
Pub. Newnes.
I've just got a new copy from Ottakar's; it is
still in print (just) £21-99pp for 176 pages packed
full of concise info about RF circuits, LC filters
(especially the bits about use of an L-network to
match ant to TX) together with a good analysis of
the Smiff (That's _TWO_ "f"'s) Chart and how to use it.
Looks a better bargain than that £350 law book of yours.

Whatever books people recommend on RF Design , as a non-professional in the
RF Field , I find :
"Experimental Methods in RF Design" by W7ZOI ,KK7B and W7PUA the 'top of
the pops'.
Published by ARRL ,it also seems to be available from RSGB.
It has more than 500 pages and costs US $ 50.-
In my opinion , as an radio amateur home constructor ,you don't need any
other RF design book , although the above book's (much older) predecessor "
Solid State Design for the Radio Amateur " by W7ZOI and W1FB (now sadly SK)
is equally inspiring .
