If both ends are coming together to form a Loop :
Then it is Balanced and can be feed directly via
Ladder Line or Coax Cable. With Coax Cable as a
Feed-Line; you could also use a 1:1 Matching
Transformer (Balun) if the Loop is going to be
used for both Tx & Rx.
NOTE - 240 Feet of wire puts you at about 4.2 MHz
with a SkyWire Loop Antenna.
FWIW - If this Loop Antenna is 'only' for Receiving
then a 4:1 Matching Transformer (Balun) could be use
with Coax Cable as a Feed-in-Line.
SKYWIRE LOOP ANTENNA :
This type of Large and Low Loop Antenna is generally
called a SkyWire Loop Antenna. There is a specific
group for builders and users of SkyWire Loop Antennas
on YAHOO ! =

This group is for people interested in building and
using a Sky-Wire Loop Antenna
SKYWIRE =

This group is for the Radio Experimenter who wants
to Learn and Exchange their Knowledge and 'secrets'
about the SkyWire Loop Antenna.
