Just what is a "corporate company?" A company, by definition, is a

A company, by definition, is not a corporation. Just because the corporation
is a popular legal entity doesn't make your generalization true in all cases.

First, there are other legal entities like LLP, LLC and certain types of
partnerships; LLC's, for example, offer the protection of a corporation
without a lot of the paperwork. Second, there are still people that choose
the riskier forms of business, like sole proprietorships and general
partnerships, where the individuals bear all of the liability incurred by
the company.

I believe you interpreted the word "corporate" too literally.
