Default Long Wave in Australia

I have a submission in at the moment Brian for PN Stations to be
separate from Newsradio
in other words create a new ABC network exclusive to PN.

Newsradio would then be 24Hours on its own

And the New Network would be the Federal Parliment, Plus local
transmissions
of the State Parliment in each State with the Balance of unfilled time
being from Radio Australia or Dig Country and Rural

I have had a warm response and in some areas only crystals need to be
cut as standy by AM transmitters are not being utilised.

In addition to that new network I also want us to buy two second hand
High Power Russian transmitters for LW for Inland Outback coverage

2000 Kw on LW out where its Flat at Bourke

or the Alice or in the Kimberleys where theres plenty of unused power
will send a New Network on LW a Fair Way

You could cover the whole Country with two LW transmitters one in the
Eastern States
and one in WA. A LW TX at Broken Hill would cover Brisbane,Sydney,
Melbourne and Hobart and even get to Auckland!!

We might also need another 2000Kw to cover North Queensland and the
Gulf/NT
located at Mt Isa

On that new LW Network Im suggesting a new network called ABC Outback
Radio

With a new separate ABC Outback Program,Sport,Dig Country.Macca and
Rural and fill time from Radio Australia

If the ABC LW Services were to carry Advertising (like SBS) it may
make a good venture for
a separate entity, or the frequencies could be put out to tender

A Good Project for those in Broadcasting Law and with Technical
Knowledge
of which we have several.

Special work has to be done to cyclone proof the Transmitting aerials

For those interested in this Time Warp turned new go to

The transmitters could also be adjusted also to high power Digital
On this Link with a Cyclone Proof Cross Antenna theyre only using
500Kw. Im suggesting 2000Kw for All Australia
