"The trial of Community Audio Distribution System (CADS) licences has
been extended until 30 September 2006 to include Blackburn, Bolton,
Burnley, Oldham, and Rochdale."

For those who do not know, CADS is a recently proposed service which would
allow religious
groups to broadcast their services on one of the CB bands here in the UK.
It was initially put on a one year trial, in 4 UK cities, but that was
extended for another
year. Now, it is also extended to some towns.

Peter.

Now this is serious. What you will have is some mosques running 10KW. This
is a back door way of getting rid of freebanders on 11m. It could make
freebanders migrate to 6MHz. I hope the scheme fails.
