Would like to thank all those who replied to me direct and I have found a
service manual now. Also found the sevice manual for my IC-2720H as well. So
many thanks to all. Now comes to hard part of diagnosing the IC-740, it
works fine on all bands but the 10 & 15 meters and it won't receive or
transmit on either band. I suspect that the PL is going out of lock but
without the manual I couldn find the voltages that were needed to be
checked.
