I lived in an association for 5 years, and you are right. It would not go with
the area, and people would not allow it. The dipole in the peak of the attic
would work well. Or, it you have a mature tree, you can hang a dipole vertcally
and almost go unoticed, with the exception of the feedline being present. That
would require some trenching or digging.
