Not sure if you guys can answer this but ill ask on the offchance anyhow.
This radio in the UK has mid, high and UK40 as standard and when they come
new they work on UK40 only and you cant access mid and high.

Does anyone know how to open this rig up to do what it suppsed to? I would
guess, like the Superstar 3900FM and the Nato 2000FM, it will be something
pretty simple (simple being if you know what it is)
