I don't know, but keep in mind...

that if you're in the U.S., TV channel radios will stop working in 3 to
4 years.

Both houses of Congress have approved bills that will require the
shutdown of analog TV transmitters. The House version specifies the end
of 2008, the Senate version April of 2009. Assuming that the final bill
will set a date between these two, and that the President will sign it
(IMHO pretty much certain) that gives you an idea of how long analog TV
sound radios will work.

There are no TV sound radios for digital transmissions.

(it is possible to make one but it would be a LOT more expensive than
current analog sets and would probably have pretty poor battery life)

I suppose if you really wanted to listen to TV sound around the house,
the solution would be to buy a little FM radio transmitter (like the
ones Ramsey Electronics sells, or the ones sold for playing satellite
radio through the car), attach it to the cable box/satellite box/digital
tuner, and use it to rebroadcast the TV sound on an unused FM frequency.
You could then use any FM radio to listen.

If she's wanting to listen while jogging/walking the dog/whatever away
from the house, she's going to be SOL.
