Subject: Lennie, You're OUTTED, Now Get Over It

Not at all. I would like to see Lennie silenced becasue he has lied
repeatedly and makes outrageous and unsupported claims against Amateur

Radio as
a whole.

You have lied repeatedly.

Then you are free to post the quotes where I lied, Brian. As a
matter of
fact, I DARE you to do it.

Len's opinion of the cult of amateur radio isn't far off the mark.

It's so far off the mark as to be laughable. That you think it
isn't
makes me rethink the "concilliatory" language I've been trying to take
with
you.

My bust.

I've given a long list of the people that you incessantly badger
whenever they might come on to the group.

Your list, as I responded to earlier, was in error.

That argument is over with, Brian. There are other IMMEDIATE issues

that
need to be and should be addressed, but they aren't. I ahve introduced and
reintorduced them, but they fall on deaf ears, so it shall be...I am not
another "Vipul" who will damn all Amateur Radio because it won't meet MY

needs.

Do you believe that the FCC, through a body of rules titled "Part 97"
governs amateur radio?

Where in the blue blazes did you get a questuion like that in
response to
the quoted paragraph, Brian?

The FCC's jurisdiction over Amateur Radio has NEVER been in
contest. This
is some dodge that your buddy like to try and trun from time to time.

No one in this forum has ever "denied", "disclaimed", alluded to"
or
otherwise attempted to suggest that the FCC is NOT the governing agency
for
civil radio in the United States.

I DARE you to provide ONE quote where ANYONE in this forum has
stated
otherwise.

We ought to be able to eliminate the code exam for free American
amateurs.

There are Amateurs imprisoned over Morse Code? I know Flippo and
Burton
are in jail for QRMing and unlicensed operation, but WHO is in jail
over Code?

I disagree, but does there need to be organized support to maintain an
unnecessary and arbitrary requirement?

Please cite for me some known law that is enforced WITHOUT
"organized
support", Brain.

I can't think of a single law that gets enacted and enforced
WITHOUT
"organized support", and I certainly can't think of any law that ever
got
revoked or deleted without "organized support". The Bill of Rights
bears
witness to same, espeicially the 18th and 21st amendments.

Our government may take years to eliminate the code exam.

Brian...copy this post, including headers, and save it.

I am willing to wager $100.00 US Dollars (one hundred), that the
Federal
Communications Commission shall, either on thier own volition or acting
on a
duly submitted petition, within 180 days of the ratification of any
changes to
ITU S25.5, delete Morse Code testing as a requirement for ANY class of
Amateur
Radio license in the United States.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
breaking to KB9RQZ text

looks like Stevie Owes you 100 Dollars US

has he paid up?
backk to stevie
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Unless they
allow the VEC to misinterpret Part 97 and just stop testing.

How can they "misinterpret" Part 97?

What part of Part 97 as it presently exists lends itself to
"misinterpret(ation)" such that VE's could even remotely consider NOT
complying
with examinations for Element 1?

Your zeal only exposes you for what you are.

Intolerant of the lying and deceitful?

M-o-v-e On!

You condone liars and the deceitful?

Sorry for what? Lennie insists on some "lodge hall" mentality,

Yup.

He's wrong.

insists
that Amateur Radio does NOT provide a public service,

So, he's wrong.

That's what I've been TRYING to tell you!

and has made countless
assertions that are untrue and proven false with ease.

So do you.

Quotes, please...

So he has proved....what?

He's said that we're full of OF's that cling to the past. If you
can't see that, then you're part of the problem.

Let's see...."clings to the past"...

Hmmmm....I certainly AM active on CW on HF...But Wait! There's
More!

EME...(building a station)...airborne telemetery for DASH
surveillence,
mentoring, ATV...

Whew...Could go on, but why...??? I've helped dozens of NEW hams
get on
the air, almost all of which have been Post 1991 and post
"Restructuring"
licensees.

No one in any club I belong to (three) even remotely supports
"clinging to
the past". Nothing I read in ANY periodical suggests that Amateur
Radio
"cling to the past" other than the usual historical interest expressed
by ANY
group in it's development. Every major periodical is ripe with new
technology
and techniques articles.

Nothing, Brian...

Now, Please provide the requested verifications of YOUR assertions
of lies
on my part.

We'll wait right here.

Steve, K4YZ
