Veterans Day!!! Bill.
I was not aware that the Marines used the same MOS numbers as the
Army.(11B)In fact I don't think they do.
Why would a Marine give a Army MOS # unless he is a wantabe.Lots of
those
around anymore.

Bill, i hadn't thought about that till you mentioned it. i'm in
W.PA., there was a news spot from up Erie way, about a young man
claiming to be a bird col. i guess he went around town with the
brass on his lapel. don't know for sure. one of the old-timers
from the local VFW called him out on it. back in my day, after nom,
the people who mouthed off the most, or wore the old jackets; most
never even served. our local Viet Nam Vet As, started asking for a
copy of your DD-214 before you got membership. i also remember the
Special Forces As complaining about a lot of wantabes.
i started this thread in the hope's of a little discussion on the
screwing of the vets are getting from the bush crime family. i had hoped
it would not turn into a flame / or BS mess. i never ask anyone to
love the vets, just show some respect for them. we have a Viet Nam
memorial, in Pittsburgh, by the sports statiums. beautiful spot
by the river. our vet group post a 24 hour guard every Veterans day.
it's an Honor to be chosen to do an hour there. all day and night
vets come and go. it's a lot of memories, alot of stories, and very
few dry eyes. SO, "A Happy Veterans Day", to all vets, where ever
you may be.
