Not everyone with a high school diploma or GED is stupid John. Allot of
those common folk, keep this country running.

I'm reminded of a job interview many years ago that was interrupted for
some important problem. There was a discussion, and it came down to the
interviewer saying something incredibly and fundamentally *stupid*,
something on the order of "power equals voltage divided by current".
The other guy corrected him. Then the interviewer pointed smugly at
the wall and said, "See what's on this wall, John? That's a Master's.
Your wall only has a Bachelor's. Don't try to tell ME about electricity."
(Needless to say, I did not respond to phone calls from that company.)
The interviewer reminds me very much of Barnard.
