phone are optimal for the frequency.

modifying the antenna.

better phone.

Hello, I am a newbie in this area of knowledge, I tried to find an
answer to my question before posting but I could not. I want to have an
extension phone 30 meters in straight line from the base. there are
three walls between the desired point and the base. If I take the
phone that I have with me (uniden, analog) it works but very poorly. I
just need some improvement. I can purchase a 900 mhz dss if this will
solve the problem, also, I can conect the antenna from the base to some
antenna in the roof (both base and desired point are on the top of a
building). Any suggestions?





Not to rain on your parade but home wireless phones are not permitted to
have extended range antennas. They are constructed so as to prevent the
addition of larger antennas. When you go looking for a new phone check
the range specs. Do not take the numbers as accurate as the advertising
department has the biggest say in what is printed on the box and
instructions. Look for one of the more expensive phones as they will
most likely be more accurate in what they say they will do. Good luck
