Default About - HeathKit CG-1A Mohican and HeathKit GR-78 Receivers

MB - Yes that was the HeathKit GR-78 and it was dual-conversion
above 18 MHz.

As you correctly noted the HeathKit CG-1A Mohican Receiver had it's
'limitations' being an early 1960s generation 10+ Transistor Radio.

The HeathKit GR-78 Receiver came along in the 1970s and was
a little better Radio.

But for Looks the HeathKit CG-1A Mohican had all those Chrome Knobs
- - - A Real Pretty Radio )

FWIW - I have two HeathKit GR-78 Receivers down in Sub-Basement # 3.
One is a Project Radio with the Manual and the other is a Parts Radio.

The Two are available as a Set for $200 - Includes Shipping in the
48 States. ? ? ? Any Takers ? ? ?

Note - Project Radio = Needs Repairs and a lot of Time and Work.

Note - Parts Radio = Beyond Repair [.]

that's all folks ~ RHF
