locally about 12 years before that using a dual 8" floppy DEC and a
Silent 700 with built-in modem pushing 300 baud -- I can wait.

I am sure there are a LOT of floppies in your life, Frankie, your
Marine Corps "career" among them.

Until then, you have yet to even come close to a "point" other
than making stuff up.

Perhaps you should consider a career in writing children's tales?
You've already demonstrated a talent for fiction. Just finding an
appropriate target audience may be a bit challenging for you, though.
