Default KVOH East Coast USA Reception? When is best?

Hi Rob, I just tried to pick up 17.775, I have about S4 noise level on this
frequency right now but when the noise level drops I can hear the station
not to bad, 9.975 I hear nothing, I live in Fort Erie Ontario Canada on the
Niagara River across from Buffalo NY, it's 12:55 PM right now, I would think
if conditions get better I would have no problem receiving this station. I'm
using the 150' Foot Longwire Antenna inside my apartment

I am on the East Coast of the USA (Boston), and have been trying to catch
KVOH.

From what I understand, KVOH is in California(?), and operates on
17.775(?)
all day long....and 9.975 in the evening(?)

It appears that I am probably in their antenna 'null' being in
Massachusetts.

IS there an hour of the day that would be best? (I understand that nights
might not be best...and maybe a quiet daytime hour might be best to pick
them up....)

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Rob
