Default Vintage AM radio identification

I'm wondering if any of you older guys can ID an old model transistor radio
I am trying to hunt down.

In the late 60's I remember my older brother had an AM radio roughly about
6'X4' with a chromed speaker grill on the left side and a left pointing
horizontal chevron shaped tuning dial window on the right side. There were
thumb wheels on the right side of the radio for volume below and tuning
above. This radio came with a standard thick brown leather case that had
perforations for the speaker, and a chevron cutout to match the tuning dial
window. Four batteries were housed in a plastic holder that plugged into a
wire lead similar to a 9 volt battery connector in the back of the radio. I
seem to recall Kmart selling them up until the late 60's.

Can anyone remember this model and maybe a link to a picture?

That sounds like a Trancel (Toshiba) I had in the early to mid 60's.
I may still have it in a storage. I'll take a look for it. If it's still
around, I'll put up a link to some pictures so you can verify it's the
radio of which you speak.
