--------------------------------------------------------
When I was a kid, my dad and I built a box kit based on the US Army Air
Corp
rscue box kite. He had scrounged up several yards of the yuckiest
yellow I
have ever seen. It would fly with much lower wind speeds then the drug
store
"franklin" kite. And when we would fly it we always got a lot of
attention.

He tried several mil surplus mail order stores for the twin with wire
used
by real kite antennas, but had no luck. He wanted to see how well a
100'
kite antenna would work with my crystal radio.

Thanks, for now I have another item to add to my ever increasing
project list.
