programming means, contruction of modells about reality, since

No computer program can tell you how long it will take for a particular

Benoit Mandlebrot has been a consultant for wall street firms, so
at least in some way, he has used fractals for a real world purpose.
There are numerous other examples as well.
Thats one reason, why I like to talk about modells more than about the
instructions themselfs. Theese are treated as technical problems to be
solved later.
