Default 2 or more Ants. needed

If you have the room, a loop antenna is a very good bet. I have used dipoles
and verticals for many years. A neighbor moved in a few doors down and put
up a loop antenna. I went over and listened to the "quiet" It is a great
antenna if you are really irritated by QRN. He has only used this type of
antenna for 20 years since he tried it. I understand why. I have not yet put
up one, but will. It is winter here in North Dakota and not a good time for
antenna work.
Evrery other type of antenna works, but I just love the S/N ratio on a loop.

I'm ready to buy a Yaesu FT-857D (160-6m) & (2, 440). I been away from
Ham
Radio for more than 20 years & would like opinions on what would be the
absolute best omni-directional antenna(s) to buy, for this rig? All
opinions
welcomed. Thank you.
