of bypassing. Yet that bypassing hardly stops BPL in the homes where BPL

Nope, this is because the bypass only effects certain frequencies that
happen to be the proper ones for the capacitors and the wiring from the pole
pig to the place you put the capacitors.

In addition, the pole pig would block your trap from affecting anyone else
on the line.
