There is nothing wrong with his face. Why do you attack someone's physical

I believe you are confused... This the rec.radio.shortwave newsgroup.
BTW... Why don't you put spaces after your periods and commas, etc...? Just
curious. Its rather odd and it reduces readability of your valuable
thoughts.
Then you say your new to this group and bitch about the noise-

Jan 3, 1:11 am I am new to reading this group. I've been reading for the
past few days and have observed that the signal to noise ratio is
horrendous! Does anyone know of a better newsgroup to seriously discuss
SWL?

Subject: Sony 2010 synchronous detector operation

I have recently purchased a Sony 2010 partly based upon the high marks
given to
the synchronous detector circuit and how it can dramatically improve
reception.
I have played around with it and it does on occasion help, but not
dramatically. Signals still fade, even strong ones. In my opinion it
helps "a
little". It appears to function correctly. The manual instucts the
user to
turn on the synchronous circuit and then rotate the tunning knob till
the
opposite side band light is illuminated.
I would like to know comments from other users regarding the
use of the
sychronous detector on the 2010.
Does anyone have experience with internal adjustments for this
circuit?
Also does anyone know of any mods to the radio other than the
one for
front-end overload protection? Perhaps a mod for some of the filters
or other
circuits.
