I used to work for a place with many names:

AAA plumbing
Action Plumbing
AAA Able plumbing

And about 8 more. They used to look up customers that called on a giant
rolodex thing, and if they had problems with them under another name,
they made sure they never saw that name this time. They had a ton of
magnetic signs.

They sent me to a house one day with a water heater, and never told me
to cover the actual company name up with one of the other ones. The
owner of the house sees my truck and goes ballistic. He was going to
call the police if we didn't leave immediately.

I got chewed out, even though it wasn't my fault. At that point, I knew
two things:

I was way too honest to work there much longer

I was going to get fired soon. And I did.

I had a job 3 days later, so I didn't give a ****.
