Signal loss in the passive will be between 3-5db per port. That's
about a halving. Depending on the gain of your antenna, that may be an
issue. It may not. For more than two ports, and for better isolation
between rigs, you'll need an active device.
I've used the splitters by ICE and by Stridsberg. Both are quite
adequate for the purpose. ICE has a bit more bottom end to the
bandwidth, but that's less of an issue than it sounds.
In practical terms, for most installations, one is as good as the other.
