This is the Workhorse Ten Tec Model 229A Antenna Tuner
Hard to find model 229A Tuner in good condition. Previous owner smoked so adjust your sights accordingly. It also has scratches and they don't affect performance. They just add to your savings. This unit has performed AOK at this qth.
Matching unit is adjustable reactive network for matching unbalanced 50 ohm output impedance of xmitters and xcvrs to a variety of loads, either balanced or unbalanced. Provision is made for selecting on of four antennas or for bypassing the tuner. An extenal capacitor may be added as an available option. A dual range power and SWR meter is included.
