In July of 1982 I was in a small town in Arizona, about 70 miles from
the Phoenix transmitters nad 50 from the Flagstaff transmitters.

About 10am, the dial lit up with EVERYTHING from primarily Houston, but
also Dallas. And this lasted for four hours. Drowned out everything
else.

Was able to really get a feel for both cities that day, and the Houston
signals outdid the Dallas ones on the same frequencies, those that
filled in where Houston did not have anything were just as strong.

More recently a K-Love translator in Utah County was drowned out by
another station from who-knows-where. I've also seen KBYU-FM's
translator which kicks in good knocked out by a skip from a WVPR
affiliate, and the same went for another K-Love translator in the area
by another WVPR affilate elsewhere in the state.
