Along this same general thread of Hallicrafters rigs in entertainment,
at Disney's California Adventure, there is a decorative construction
leading up to one of its rides (also known as theming) that includes an
"adventure base station" with at least a Hallicrafters receiver and may
have included (IIIRC) a Hallicrafters transmitter. It's been awhile
since I was there, but I think it was along the queue for the Grizzly
Rapids raft ride.
