Default AOR Airband filter?

Sorry for the slow reply,

My main issues are overload from paging transmitters.
I'm also located very near the counties EOC which often uses the
transmitters for normal dispatch.

I also live in a valley which needs a good outdoor antenna for reception but
at the same time, I'm in an apartment so I'm limited in what I can put
outdoors.

A good receiver such as my old RS Pro 2004 and 2006 work well due to the
triple conversion I guess.
But some of my more expensive receivers like the AOR8200 seem to pickup a
lot of noise from the paging transmitters.
I'd love to be able to search from 108 all the way up to 136 without any
signals other than air traffic but I know that is impossible with a
multiband receiver with a wide open front end.

So my question is, does the AOR airband filter work in reducing this type of
interference from local paging transmitters in the vhf band?

All I need to know!

Thanks
