Default FYI: Radio Schack to close up to 700 stores

Why do they have to be located in a mall? Sure, there is a lot of
foot traffic, but the rent is high, its usually a a long walk from
wherever you can find to park, which takes more time to get to the
store, find what you need, and get out of the place. It doesn't make
sense to me. The older stores that were somewhere near a mall or large
shopping center always seemed to have more people than the stores in the
malls.
