Default The ionosphere and ISS ET Shadow experiment

Hi,

DX you said ? Are you interested in applied Science with the ISS crew ?

If you are interested in taking part in an experiment with Electric Thruster
Ion Plasma Engine tests onboard the ISS, read this.

The engine causes a VHF radio blackout on Earth and your help is need as
part of ground receiving network to map the extent of the effect.
Check http://www.qsl.net/vk3ukf/etshadowozindexqsl.html

What you need : a VHF transceiver or even a scanner (listeners) and any kind
of antenna including whip/mobiles 2m.

Up to now, there is not the slightest contribution outside Australia, no one
from Europe (me excepting) or America... It's a pity.
Still more knowing that the ISS crew is currently very active on the air.
