Wireless speakers?
My C.Crane FM transmitter has a really poor range. It is okay for
transmitting in a car or within twenty feet or so. My bedroom is about
forty feet from my downstairs ham station and the C.Crane FM
transmitter doesn't do the job. Maybe mine is defective.
I find wireless headsets which transmit on 914 MHz work quite well to
spread the sound from my ham station around the house. If I don't want
to listen on headsets, I carry a scanner that receives 914 MHz. I
think the wireless speakers are the same technology and would work
fine.
If you do get the C.Crane, you have nothing to lose. They have a great
return policy.

Dear Steve,
Why not try what I do. I bought a C. Crane FM transmitter, attached it
to the line output of my receiver, and transmit shortwave to any and
all FM receivers in my house (and many of my neighbors too, I daresay).
This works very well.
Best,
Joe
