www.rigpix.com See that ADi AR-147 radio.About a year or so ago,I
bought one just like it for two dollars (two dollars) at the Goodwill
thrift store. It looks just like brand spanking new too,I doubt if it has
ever been used before. It has the microphone and the mounting bracket
with the little baggy of screws and it was still in the opened cardboard
box,but no operators/owners manual.
I am sooooo slowwww and lazyyyy nowdays.I haven't gotten around yet to
checking out the radio to see if it works.I realize I would need to buy
a balun and a proper antenna for the radio before I connect it to a
battery (car battery) and turn it on.Maybe pretty soon I will get one of
the Hams around here to check out the radio for me.

Mississippi Amateur Radio Club
Hey,I know what I will do. (whenever I get off my lazyyyyy duff and get
around to it) I think that Club still meets the third Thursday evening
(about 7:00 or 8:00 PM) of each month at the Red Cross Building on
Riverside Drive. (about seven or eight miles Northeast of me) One of
these evenings I might take my radio over there and ask somebody.
