Should it be like Formula 1 and other boat contests that are only accessible
to A6 nationals ?
That looks to be a bad new but I suspected to be only "eligible" if I worked
in "time-sharing" with a A6 club or amateur, all the more that it seems that
UAE has no representative at IARU !

OK I will try to contact an A61 OM that I worked in the past or their
administration in Dubai if I find it.

Thanks

According to OH2MCN's website:

Licensing information for United Arab Emirates - A6

Prepared by: OH2MCN - Veke.
Intro: Only a national of the United Arab Emirates is eligible for a

license.

I get to operate as a "guest" of A61AD, the resident national and

licensee. No foreign ham has ever been
issued an A6 call or been given permission to operate in over 20 years.

Hi,

A question to A6 licensees.

If I work from Dubai how to get a legal licence ?

I own a new HAREC HF licence, the new version after WRC 2003, allowing

all
european holder of a VHF licence to work on HF, LX3SKY
With the LX3SKY licence I can work all through Europe on all bands as

any
US
Extra licencee.

Can he work from Dubai on HF :
1. As A6/LX3SKY during 3 months maximum (I think that I can, as

everywhere).
Then I can not more emit in HF until next year, and for another period

of
3
months.

But what's the matter after 3 months ?
2. Can I request an equivalent A6SKY after this time based on my new LX3
HAREC licence or
3. I have to pass the CW examination to get a A6SKY licence ?

PS. I suspect that A6 still requests the CW examination and thus that
solution 1. and 3. are valid.

Thanks for comment
