Heh. I wish that were the case. I'm still looking for something within
10 miles of the Hara and under $80 a night. Best I could find was a
Best Western for $100. I must have made 50 calls, at least, and I was
lucky to find the one I did. Last year, I could find rooms at several
hotels up till the week of the show.

If this anecdotal evidence is any indication, attendance should be up
over the last two years. Now if only we could get good weather this
year!

My request still stands, though - If anybody has a reservation for a
basic no-frills motel not too far from Hamvention and sub-$80, I'd be
interested in it.
