[ AC-to-DC Power Adapter - Line Noise and Artifacts ]
One assumes that you have eliminated the Wall Warts
one at a time and have determined exactly which one
that you are going to perform surgery on

)
QUESTIONS ? :
# 1 - Is the Wall-Wart {AC to DC Power Adapter}
passing the Noise Down the Line ?
# 2 - Or is the Wall-Wart Radiating the Noise Itself ?
If the Answer is # 2 then the Capacitors may not fix
the Close Proximity AC Hum Problem.
If # 2 is the problem then try Shielding the
Wall Wart and test again for the AC Hum Problem.
IN AN OUT OF THE BOX {MAGIC} :
Most of the time it is not getting things apart that is difficult;
but the process of getting them all back together again in
that 'little box' .
ADD-ON ALTERNATIVES :
One alternative is to put Clamp-On Ferrite Core
on the AC Power and DC Output of any Wall Wart.
Note - Sometimes a small Donut Shaped Ceramic Magnet
about 6" from the DC Input Plug to the Radio can help.
Simply pass the DC Power Output Wires through the
Donut Hole 2-3 times.
