Default New program - SKYTRIG

Hi Reg,

First, congratulations on your creativity with your programs,
and thank you for making them available to the community.

But they would come across a little better without any global,
borderline pompous (and incorrect) definitional pronouncements...

Program SKYTRIG - SKYWAVE TRIGONOMETRY

(snip)

Elevation angle is NOT the angle at which an antenna radiates the
strongest signal. It is the angle of the path taken by the radio wave
between two places on the Earth's surface and is nothing to do with an
antenna.

The working definition of "elevation angle," of course, depends on the
context. Your definition is appropriate in the context of your program,
and for propagation ray tracing.

But the moonbouncer would generally mean the elevation angle of his
array (or the moon), the static array designer might well mean the angle
of his maximum lobe, the aircraft spotter would mean the angle of the
target, the artilleryman would mean his muzzle angle, and so forth,
and so on.
