I just did a simple check with my ohm meter and only the 2 pins at the top
are connected to the prongs on the plug.
It appears that you can ignore the bottom 2. When I say the top 2, I am
talking about the pins closest to the key.

I have a Sony Earth Orbiter missing the power cord. It has 4 pins on
