Default Sony Earth Orbiter CRF-5100 need power cord or diagram od connector

Well... All that I am sure about is... 110volts goes into the top 2 pins.
The bottom 2 pins are NOT connected to anything. I thought maybe they were
connected to each other essentially making a closed switch when connected
but this seems not to be the case...

Jim,
When the cord is connected does it cause the two upper prongs on the
male socket to break contact?? I assume this switches the power source
from internal to external source.

Is this "breaking contact" needed for AC power or just for external DC
power?

Thanks very much for the info.

It appears that you can ignore the bottom 2. When I say the top 2, I

am
talking about the pins closest to the key.

I have a Sony Earth Orbiter missing the power cord. It has 4 pins on
the back panel socket and two prongs that look like they disconnect
when the cord is inserted.

Can anyone provide a lead on a replacement power cord or provide a
simple diagram of the connector so I can make one??

Thanks
