Whether he has money now, he is definitely of the people. On the other

trying to pretend that a Honduran is "raza" failed, even with a $1 million

not

I had a concuño Catracho once,
his Centro American spanish was more like NYC Borinqua than Mexican.
A. It is "Boricua" and it means "puertorriqueño" and is not a dialect or
accent.
B. There is no similarity at all to to the Honduran Spanish accent.
C. There is only one Spanish.
D. There is no Central American accent. A Panamanian accent is as different
from a Guatemalan one as the English of Mobile, AL is from that of Leeds,
England.
Anecdote. I was consultant to the station that had El Cucuy many years ago,
while working at stations in Puerto Rico. I got cassettes of the show to
critique. I would play them in my office, where my staff would come and go,
shaking their heads, saying, "what is that? I can't understand a word." It
was, of course, the Honduran Renán Almendarez Coello, El Cucuy, and the
Boricuas could not understand him.
