Steveo;
I've seen that green Charger of yours so I thought you may
be interested in checking out a Charger car show here just
north of Detroit in a week or two at the Chrysler Museum.
The guy at the front desk told me today that they have
already 300 registered to show their cars. The event is
free and open to the public. The flyer you can read at the
URL below.

I sold the Charger, still have the Belvedere tho.
Thanks for the heads up anyway.
What year is your Belvedere?
66 ragtop 440/475hp 727 tranny, 4:11 gear.
Awesome!
The new engine only has about 1500 miles on it, it's running 12's
which is plenty quick for a street ride. It's a fun toy, but not
very practical.
I can't let go of the sixties, Dr. The Charger was a 68 just like
the General Lee, except it was sublime green. They're all money
pits.
It was a great time for Mopar. Some of the best body styles and
huge ponies under the hood.
I'm not sure if I've told this story on here before, but I'll tell
it anyways. I had a 66 Newport 2 door hardtop, red with black
interior. The 383 was shot and we pulled a 440 out of a 67 GTX and
put it in the Newport. Within the first week I racked up 5 tickets
for speeding and illegal start from stop (burn outs), two of the
burn out tickets were within an hour of each other.
Dang, those 440's are the poor mans Hemi... getcha' ya into trouble
but it can't get ya out! Can't keep back tires on it either!
I want a crate 572 blown Hemi next! hehe
You might need to get a second mortgage on your house.
LOL
They are a bit pricey but if I sold a few yard ornaments I might be
able to
swing it. I'd have to roll-cage the Plymouth which takes some doing
with a rag-top, in order to not make it look too hillbilly and have the
top open and close over it. I've seen some nice ones but they really
restrict the leg room, especially in the back seat.
Pipe dreamin' is fun eh?
You can't drive it from the back seat anyway. If anyone else complains
they can get out and walk :-}
True. Heck I'll go ahead and tub it as long as I'm dreaming. To hell with
the back seat....... now we're doing wheelies!! vroooom------ hehe
