Default K1MAN IS MISSING

It appears as if the self proclaimed leader of ham radio may be on the
run or in hideing from the FCC. I just read this on the K1MAN Watch
website at http://host.picturewizard.com/2005-7/357648/

Where is Glenn Baxter?

ARRL affiliated stations throughout New England were very active during
the May, 2006 flooding emergency there, however, K1MAN's pre-recorded
radio bulletins have been largely absent from the airwaves since the
FCC issued a Notice of Apparent Liability almost one year ago.

Baxter has not published IARN/AARA news with any regularity, and
despite emergency activation of Skywarn, ARES, and the National Guard
in New England, Baxter did not activate the IARN bulletin station for
the New England emergency.

The last time K1MAN bulletins disappeared was when Riley Hollingsworth
of the FCC began to seriously question Baxter's on-air activities in
1999. When K1MAN finally returned to radio he told listeners he had
been "teaching school" and that his absence had nothing to do with FCC
action concerning his license. As of this writing, IARN/AARA bulletins
are absent from the air, and Baxter has not said when, or if, they will
ever return.
